The Consortium handles tasks and functions regarding social services of 57 consorted municipalities.

The Consortium, alongside with Health Service, as well as other institutions and the local community, takes an active part in promotion of well-being of an individual, prevention of discomfort and improvement of quality of life.

In particular, the Consortium encourages self-determination of an individual, valorization and support to family, relatives and solidarity, as well as guarantees the rights of individuals and their families to take part in definition of a personalized project and in relative acquainted contract.
The Consortium establishes and supplies services and interventions aimed to remove and overcome conditions of need and difficulty that a person and a family may come across in the course of live.

It directs its activity to all the citizens in need, regardless them being children, young people, disabled, adults or older people.

The Consortium guarantees an activity of information, reception, observation and estimation of need, with consequent activation of appropriate resources in order to overcome difficulties of economical and social spheres that may paralyze a normal independent life and relations.
